I'm asking specifically about their performance in this genre as it has different requirements. I am playing with the idea of buying a new or used Sony Walkman. I know the earlier models could have smaller screens and/or bass or volume shortage. What do you suggest? I prefer to have really strong but not artificial bass on cellos etc. I previously tried Sony stick players and was delighted how the violin sounds on them but decided to switch to something with a real screen to see information about my music and also with better sound quality. Should I go with the latest or would a used one be fine for now?
