Your 5 favorite Classical Releases of the Decade / Favorite Classical Release of 2009?

So what do you feel were the five best classical releases of the past 10 years. Please don't include re-issues of previously released material, the recording's first appearance should be from the past 10 years:-)

Also if you don't mind, as an added bonus, what do you feel is the best classical release of the past year?

My favorites this decade would probably have to be Max Richter's "The Blue Notebooks" and Eluvium's "An Accidental Memory in the Case of Death".

Also, I know these are soundtracks, but they could very well be considered as modern classical works: Clint Mansell's soundtrack for "The Fountain" and "Requiem For A Dream" are two of the best this decade.

William Basinski's "The Disintegration Loops" also deserves a mention.

Aside from that, video game music, film & TV scores are really where the beautiful classical music of the 21st century is at. Bear McCreary's "Battlestar Galactica" score is intense!

only five? That's harsh man! Let me try anyway:

Bach Cantatas Pilgrimage - Gardiner:
A daring project, and a great cantata cycle
Bach, Matthaus-Passion - Herreweghe:
Maybe my favourite recording of all times, certainly in my top five
Haydn, Masses - Gardiner:
Made me discover Haydn vocal music
Mozart, Nozze di Figaro - Jacobs:
A revolution! Act II is the most entertaining 30' of music I have heard
Mozart, Zauberflote - Abbado:
You don't need period instruments to be hip...

For 2009, I am not sure: being a cheapskate I haven't yet bought anything issued so recently :-)

1) Mackerras - live Beethoven cycle with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra
2) Daniel Hope - Mendelsohn violin concerto (original score)
3) Hilary Hahn - Bach violin concertos
4) Rudolf Barshai - Mahler 5
5) Piotr Anderszewski - Diabelli Variations

I know that there are more good recordings in this decade than operas, but these really stand out as being jaw droppingly good.
