Who wants to build me a switchbox?

This would be a great opportunity for a new DIY'er to hone their skills, though I of course wouldn't mind anyone experienced to pump one out in a prompt manner either

One pair of XLR-in, two pairs of XLR-out. One output pair straight-through, the other output pair through a potentiometer. All cased up in some kind of small box, wood/metal/plastic makes little difference. Must be switched, not simply a y-split.

I am exceedingly busy, which combined with my ineptitude for drilling even a single hole, prevents me from constructing this simple device myself.

You may want to state the approximate budget for this passive preamp. A 4-gang pot (or stepper) isn't usually cheap.

Doug, I would have given the same two names as Dave, but would also add Ying at YBMAudio. YBMaudio. I'd go first to him.
