My downsizing opera continues, and now it's the turn of one of my Moray James power cords. This was used with my Stax SRM-717 amp to provide the cleanest power for it to amp the Omega 2.
I have a longer, identical one going into my Museatex Bitstream DAC. Moray James' cables are considered the best match for Museatex products (Bidat, Idat-M, Bitstream, Idat-44).
The Moray cable is well constructed, 5 feet long, it uses a very high quality plug (originally a Marinco, modded internally by Moray to provide the purest interface to the dac/amp) and, unlike cheap computer cords, is designed to get rid of the losses and interferences that normally affect the current going to produce the audio signal.
The audible result is that vocals are brought more to the front and sound more "human" and intimate.
It retails for 400$ and has been positively compared with much more expensive cords.
I am asking 190€ shipped in Europe. Worldwide buyers, please add 10 USD for the increased shipping cost.
Buyer absorbs Paypal fees or can use "gift" option if they are fine with that.
Thanks for looking,
Tony
