Ultrasone Pro900 recabling

Thread Starter
I have just bought a pair of Ultrasone PRO900 headphones which should arrive shortly, can anyone tell me what connector is used and is it obtainable on its own which connects the cable into the headphone as I intend to recable it with cardas cable when they arrive, also for a later date has anyone converted these headphones into a balanced cable setup and was it easy.

thanks for any replies

1) Headphones use screw-in 3.5mm connector so if you want them balanced, you'll have to so something more creative (replace single-entry connector with mini 4-pin xlr perhaps) or hard-wire.
2) Ultrasone does not sell drivers, you have been warned.
