Question about custom toroidal transformer for B22

I would like to order a custom made toroidal transformer with Electro-static Shield and Flux Band (to avoid magnetic interference) for my 1 enclosure balanced B22.

My question is: should I make two separate toroidal transformers (each with 2 x 30VAC output) or 1 transformer with 4 x 30VAC output ?

1 transformer option will give me more space for easy layout but I wonder if it produces any interferences between left and right channels. On the other hand, 2 transformers will guarantee the channels independence.

Thanks,

If you are going to build a no compromise amp and buycustom trafos on top of that, go for the dual transformers. That way you'll never have to give a second thought to the amp's performance.

By the same logic, I would also recommend a 2 case layout, but I guess if you shield it well enough it should work.

More importantly, bigger transformers also have bigger magnetic flux.

I recommend "dual mono" separate power - over 3/4-channel implementations in a few posts:

floating supply for each of the R/L channel boards with the star gnd common point at the headphone output connector gnd should work fine - a further refinement would be to isolate RCA input gnd from chassis and also connect to star gnd with low impedance wide braid or Cu flashing

as long as you're talking custom, a single Xmfr with 4(or dual CT) secondaries also allows 2 floating supplies

air space, cheap iron (low carbon steel - even "tin can" stock) and twisted pair wiring everywhere can keep leakage flux coupling under control

thanks all for ur replies. I think I will go with dual transformers option.
