IPC6 late 2009 mods

I have an IPC6, 160GB, late 2009 version.
Now I know about the Red Wine iMod, but they won't do the IPC6.
They all say IPV5 has that WM-whatever chip inside that's *vastly* superior compared to the Cirrus chip inside the IPC6.
So. iFixIt has opened one up but I couldn't spot the DAC. It's all marked "Apple".
Which one is the DAC? Where can I get a Wolfson DAC? And what kind of Black Gate caps will I need? Thanks!

I believe red wine would not imod the ipod classic because the line out signal was clean enough and imod would not vastly improve it as it does the 5g ipods.

Very well. So how does an iModded IPV5 compares to an unmodded IPC6? In terms of sound quality, of course..
Does the IPC6 sound more technical or...?
