Ipod Touch

Hey, I'm going to be grabbing an ipod touch 3rd gen for Christmas

I've heard around that ipod's don't generally have the best audio quality, so I'm hoping i could get a bit of help as to what i could do to improve it
I just bought a pair of beta brainwavz with the Fiio E5, but I'm not sure if they are that good (haven't received in mail yet).
I'm looking for suggestions as to what headphone amp (if required) and what IEMs i should buy, under $200 together please

Thanks in advance

Honestly, don't waste your money on a portable amp for your iPod.. Just use the 200$ on a great pair of headphones.

You would have a much higher quality listening experience with better buds than 50 dollar buds with some 100 dollar amp.

It would be a good idea to ask around in the IEM forums. There's actually a sale on the Head Direct RE252 right now and they've been getting pretty good reviews around.
