looking for IEMs . Budget around USD$110

Thread Starter
hey guys.

I've been looking at this forum, and I've concluded that for what I want, which is a GOOD amount of bass, and the rest can be nicely balanced, but I want bass.

I've read that the Denon AH-C710K, for the budget, are the way to go. I am also looking for that angled shape of the earphones, I don't want the straight one, like the AH-C551K, cause I have those and I don't like how they fit.

Any advice? thanks a lot!

(ps sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language, but I hope it all makes sense)

Klipsch S4, Hippo VB, discounted Atrio M5/M8... Search more and you'll get plenty of options.

The best choice in this price range is probably the Klipsch S4 (around US$80). I've heard these IEM's and they offer excellent sound, especially since Klipsch uses oval-shaped ear tips, which actually offers a better fit than round ear tips most other IEM makers use.

(I'm going to be getting the Klipsch S4i version with remote control, a gift from my cousin who didn't want it because he already owns the Shure SE420. )

Like Ka Boom stated, you can treat you self and search for it easily instead of creating a new thread. Just my suggestion, no offense

If you're willing to spend a hair more, I'd go with the Phonak Audeo PFE. It's a single-driver phone but one with a very nice, balanced, presentation. It also comes with a choice of two different filters, so you can tweak it to either take on an Etymotic-like quality for that HF detail or go a little darker to bring in the bass. One thing I really liked about this IEM was the degree to which it responded to my M^3 headphone amp. Some monitors didn't sound any better when hooked up to a high-quality amp. This one was remarkable. I could go with the lighter filter (and get all that HF detail) and turn up my variable bass boost and enjoy throbbing bass at the same time. It was amazing, especially for the price.
