Quite cool, but how does this have to do with full-size headphones?

We should make more hype about headphones. Seems people only know them as Apple buds.

I reckon headphones should be tested on deaf people to find out how harshness/sibilance etc (which should cause physical discomfort) affects you with the psychological factor removed.

I agree with the study. I've often thought the cushions used with headphones were actually as much a detriment to the sound as an aid to comfort. The use of soft padding may provide great cushioning for the ears but it diminishes the transference of low-frequency vibrations through the lobes.

i enjoy headphones more because the best speakers i've heard were from a £130 hifi system i own.
