45 Rpm Vrs 33 1/3.

Do you think 2xlp 45 rpms are worth the extra disc, or do you resent having to get up and change them every 10 minutes. Personally I have a lot of 45s in my collection and I can hear a tighter sound quality. It is worth it for me.

I think even audiophiles must acknowledge that fiddling with platter changes every few minutes interrupts the flow of music enjoyment. Beyond a certain point, I just want to sit back and enjoy. Therefore, 45 rpm vinyl FTL.

45 RPM needledrops.

Problem: Solved?

I am not a fan. I am sure it sounds better but, with a turntable that I have to physically move the belt to 45rpm, I hate it.

Needledrops aren't the same as listening to vinyl directly.

I don't have many 45s but I do think changing every 10 minutes is annoying.

16/44.1 or hi-rez needledrops?

FWIW, 45s don't bother me too much.

I do have to manually change my belt like my neighbor mentioned but I usually just play several 45s in a row.

I guess that, for me, once I have it in my head to listen to records I don't particularly care if they have 2 or 10 songs on a side. It isn't so hard to flip the record and the 45s are similar to those two platter 33 records in terms of songs per side.

I have many fond childhood memories of stacking 45s - Seasons In The Sun followed by The Night Chicago Died followed by In The Year 2525. It's not a very audiophile solution though. Maybe you can find one of these:
