I get the same thing, that's why I stick to the PK1s unless I really need the isolation of IEMs. Tri-Flange are ok though still bother me after a while but the Shure black foams drive me crazy. I don't have any kind of irritation persist after removing them.

I bought this ear cleaner hoop thingy from walgreens..... and man it's awesome for this exact purpose! seriously, like 99% of the time my ear itches, and I stick this thing in my ear, it pulls out a loose hair (from my head or I guess my dog's...idk). It's cool, and cheap, and washable.
