I have my fabulous HeadRoom Desktop Max amp + DAC (they don't build such gems anymore, just ipod companions ) incl. HeadRoom Desktop Power Supply for sale on ebay:

HeadRoom Desktop Max Amp/DAC + Power Supply - eBay (item 260512934822 end time Dec-05-09 09:32:47 PST)

The page is in German, but you folks know this masterpiece! If I can support you with any translation or further detail, please let me know!

Nice, but I'd just like to point out that the HeadRoom Ultra Desktop is the same thing as the old Max Desktop, just a different name.

Will you ship to Canada?

No :-)

Hi!

Sorry, but that's not the case - here's what Mike Olson of HeadRoom said on this earlier this year:

Hey Robert,

Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. Unfortunately there is no
way to "upgrade" your amp into the Ultra Desktop Amp. The
new Ultra Desktop Amp has a completely different layout than your current Desktop.
They really are two completely different amps and I'm afraid this is
not possible.

Also I don't think we will be offering any kind of trade-in for the
new amps. So my suggestion would be to sell your Desktop amp on EBay
or Audiogon, which you should be able to get a great price for, and
use that money towards the new Ultra Desktop Amp. I hope this helps and please
let me know if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,

Mike Olson

You see, I follow Mike's suggestion here ;-)

And yes, I'll ship to Canada with great pleasure!

Best,
Robert

Hi,

yes, the unit can be switched between either 220V and 110V, so it will work just fine in Canada :-)

Best Regards,
Robert
