Hi guys ,

I know i bomb a dead thread , but better than open new one :)

since the cable is made in the first place for HD650 , the RED and BLACK wires become very short with the D-7000

So. i removed about 20cm from the coating to extend the length of the wires (R & B) ,

Did i ruined the cable ? and does this will effect in any way in the sound ?

Ok. maybe the Questions are not clear !

I just remove the cover and expose about 20cm to extend the length of the RED & BLACK cables

I know the cover (Coating) is not only to make the cable harder , but also to isolate the core ? right ?

so. Is what i did will effect the core and the sound quality ?

Thank you
