silver dragon HD650 cable for D7000 ???

Hi guys
I have silver dragon cable which i bought it for my HD650 , but i didn't use it

Can i use the cable for D7000 ?

I mean can i cut the two ends of the cable (L&R) and use it for D7000 ?

sorry i am not professional , but regarding to this review

Denon D7000 Deconstructed

there are no connectors for D7000 just two ends with expose wires , and only need a professional person to weld it or something like that

Yes, but just cutting off the ends of the wires is not the same thing.

You mean that i can use the cable for D7000 , that's great

I have a technician friend can help me , but what i need to do more than just cut the two ends of the wire ?

Before you cut anything, consult your friend and see what his take is on doing this. I've never heard of anyone modifying other cables to work on the D7000. I would suggest to sell the current HD-650 cables and get a cable specifically for the D7000.

I already but the cable in the sale section in the forum , but just i told my self why not use the cable for my new D7000 instead of sale it in lower price and buy another one , since the different is only the ends of the cable which i believe its very easy to modify .
I just want make sure 100% before i do anything with the cable , that's why i need some body tell exactly what to do .

Well, i opened the D7000 pads then the wooden cover to check the wire



i thing its possible to use the silver dragon cable ,

yes you can easily just cut the hd650 plugs off the silver dragon, then remove the soldered wire from the d7000s then test the silver dragon cable for +/- then its just solder it onto the d7000s. the pink on the d7000s is the +/ the colored wire, other is ground. if you need anymore help just pm me with what ever you need. don't forget to strain relief.

Well, yesterday i find some spare time to finish modifying the cable , and this what i did





Now the D7000 works perfectly

In fact i listen to music and play games for only one hour before i remove the stock cable from D7000
But i feel that the silver cable more clearer and more detailed

Nice Job. Now all you need is some JMoney lambskin pads and you'll have a really tricked out (and more comfortable) set-o-cans.
