iPod touch or Walkman X to stay at home?

Ok so I've been thinking about both these two players constantly and which should stay at home with me. I own the iPod touch 32GB 3rd gen and the Walkman X1060. I probably should have asked for the new 160gb classic because it is about $60 cheaper than the Touch but I am not going to turn back now, especially since it was a 'gift' from family. I own Westone UM3X (planning to stay at home with me), Grado SR-225 (when I am energised and wanna get into the music) and ATH-AD700, which I really just use for gaming. My RSA P-51 Mustang should be arriving soon along with an iPod LOD and pure silver interconnect. So I will be equipped to use either the Walkman or iPod with the amp. The four things that are preventing me from keeping the Walkman at home. The fact that it has buttons at the top (Play/Pause, Next song and Previous song), these are VERY useful for portability. The fact that I have to use an interconnect through the headphone out.It also hisses with my UM3X, haven't tried Grado's, awaiting a 1/4" to1.8" adaptor. I am worried that the Mustang might amplify the hiss and will really annoy me Also, the Walkman has FANTASTIC battery life, great for portability, but bad for home use since it is a waste and i will be charging it all the time most likely.

The Walkman has an OLED screen, bad for daylight but wonderful in the dark/home. I bought the Touch coz I was planning on using the Walkman at home, especially since the Touch has apps. The touch also can be used with many LODs out there, superior to a interconnect through a headphone out. Please help me decide I would type hundreds of words on this but I figured no one would bother to read my post hehe

The X is the smaller, lighter one with hardware buttons, and once the screen turns on you don't have to slide to unlock. I'd probably take the X out.

But why not do both? Take whichever one you feel like taking with you on any given day. You've got the resources to do that.

I find my X woeful as a portable - love it on my desk at work, but that screen and the UI doesnt do it for me once I walk out the front door. The NWZ-S738 is much better as a genuinely portable player, IMO.

Hmm since i just spent $25 on an iPod LOD to find out it doesn't work, and a further $45 on one that hopefully will work, I think i might use iPod at home with my RSA P-51 Mustang. I prefer the UI of Walkman anyway :P I love the album art scrolling. iPod touch is freeking HUGE compared to the Mustang amp, even my sister's nano that is 2 gens old is bigger than it.
