Axis: Bold as Love; Thriller - available on DVD-A?

Hi, question is in the title, since I've gotten into headphones I'm interested in getting both my files and source correct too, whilst DVD-A is probably complete overkill; if I'm getting the albums at all, I'd rather go straight for DVD-A; though I would also accept HQ .wav, or 24/96.

I haven't had enough gear and files to compare and evaluate the real validity of getting such high quality sound files, this chase isnt pointless I hope.

Well, anyway, wondering if the above titles are in the mentioned formats - infact, would recordings that 'old' be any different in such formats?

Thanks in advance, sorry if I made another typically incoherent post...

If you believe Jerry DelColliano... Thriller was mixed as DVD-A, but never released.

I don't think there's a real audiophile or even high-quality version of Axis.
