I have a 2008 120GB iPod Classic which very occassionally will stop midway through a track and then start the next one. This will happen twice a day if I use ALAC files (recorded via dBpoweramp), but only happens once in a blue moon if I use (Lame v0) MP3 files.

Does anyone know if the 2009 160GB Classic is prone to this skipping on ALAC files?
