64-bit Win7 WILL NOT run 16-bit apps anymore. Make an inventory of apps that you use just to verify that they will all run. It's gotta be a really old legacy app if it's still 16-bit

From what I have heard and read 7 pwns Vista and XP. I am currently using XP Pro on Laptop and plan on buying OEM of 7 for next desktop build.

Save the money or spend them elsewhere... Music maybe?
