The M9 build quality

I decided to buy the M9, but I've been reading reviews that the build quality is poor. Does this means the wires rip due to daily use and being inside my pocket?
Also, does this mean the M9 has limited hours of playing before it burns out?

I would confirm with Meelec, but the M9 was supposed to have recently received a build overhaul with new cabling, which would fix all of the issues I had with them. The old wires were quite thin and the strain reliefs didn't do their job. Not sure what you mean by burning out, but for me they had limited hours before developing cable issues. Should be all good in the new version.

If I were you I'd keep an eye on the overstock prices for the M6 while you're waiting for the M9. They tend to fluctuate a bit and overstock has cheaper shipping and is compatible with bing cashback. Lowest I've seen to date was $29 for the Ai-M6 + 6% cashback, which is like $27.
