What do you use at the gym?

After a year of being lazy and generally feeling like crap, I've made the decision to go back to the gym. YAY! However, I don't feel like taking my 530s with me. And certainly not even a portable amp. I just want to be able to take my older Nano, and buds, and just go.

What's an inexpensive earbud that doesn't require an amp and yet still sounds good? Good bass, but also detailed?

Thanks!

How about Yuin PK3?

I use a 1st-gen Shuffle and my JH13s..

But I'd recommend the 1st-gen Shuffle with a pair of ADDIEMs at the least. The Shuffle has huge bass that would complement the ADDIEMs very well.

If you're talking about earbuds, then Yuin PK3 would be a good choice. Not that expensive and sound great.

KSC75 would be good if you don't mind ear clips. There are 2 different cable options for the KSC75. The one without the volume control in the cable is better for working out.

Maximo Im-590 and Meelec Ai-M6. Both very well-built, affordable (<$45), detailed, and with good bass.

I havent heard them yet but I will probably pick up the Sleek SA1 to go with my W-1. Currently I use the SA6 with the W-1 but they are alot more expensive and Im hoping the SA1 will sound great like the SA6 and they are only $80. Using the W-1 has made my gym experience a million times better.

Agree. I use some fontopias. They play nice with sweat, and isolate just enough. Plus... if they break, I'm out like a case of beer... or a bag of protein shake mix?

I don't go to the gym (sports practice, competitive biking, etc), but I use CX300s when I need isolation, and Sennheiser MX760s when I don't.

Sony MDR-AS100 are my choice for exercise IEMs. If you only want earbuds, I can't help.
