Hello everybody,
I feel the need to vent it out of my system and express my relief.
The story is that my HD595's developed a small crackle to the left channel when listening to very low bass, but it was fine before. So I suspected that I might have hurt them somehow.
I already started plotting about tightening my belt to buy new headphones this month. To my relief when I opened the phones (removed the pads etc) I discovered that the villain was a small hair which had found its way on to the driver, when I got it out everything started to sound nice again
Thank god for the audiophile grade gear which can be opened quite easily to preform such small trivial but very important fixes.
Also I should think about cutting my hair once in a while - NO this is absolutely out of the question, NEVER!
Thank you,
