Got a fuze coming in soon. Can't find my old one....dangit.

Anyway, I have a pair of PK3s and was curious if I would like some G2As?

This is for banging around-fi. Working out, fixing things, dusting...Ok not that, I do laundry but there is a line I won't cross lol.

I think I want a biggr sound stage and more bass impact. I believe the G2As offer that over my Pk3s?

Soundstage - yes; bass impact - no.

G2a bass does comes in with +100 hours burn in & does have some impact - but by no means is it a bass centric headphone. Great detail with emphasis on higher mids.

IMO the G2a are the best clip style headphone for the $.

I also owned the PK3 but earbuds don't stay in for my ear type so I don't use them anymore. PK3 do sound great for an earbud type headphone.

The different types (open clips vs earbuds) typically lend itself to a different type of soundstage based on the distance of the driver to the ear so it depends on what you prefer more than one is overall better than the other.

Well, I like mids more than anything else anyway so yeah. Getting some G2a then. Thanks
