I went out of my way, including driving almost 30 kilometres to deliver this amp, because the purchaser did not have access to a vehicle. The price for which it sold was very reasonable, and the condition of the product was excellent, both functionally and aesthetically. The seller has sufficient time to visually inspect and try out the amplifier and the accompanying accessories. He was quite satisfied, and the transaction was completed. At a later date, the seller contacted me with contrived complaints. He threatened to leave me negative feedback unless I sent him, what I felt was an unreasonable partial refund. Even though I did nothing wrong, nor was there anything deficient about the product or its accessories, I did not want the negative feedback, so I mailed him some funds after negotiating. He still left me negative feedback. Said individual's deception, dishonesty, and bullying tactics are simply not acceptable. I strongly suggest that one should avoid dealing with this individual, or at the least, implement careful discretion.

At no point did I threaten negative feedback. I listed my points several times regarding damages and missing components and asked for compensation. Ultimately, neutral feedback was given.
edit: forget it, feedback thread is not the place to rehash this argument

^Darksyde
At no point did I threaten negative feedback. I listed my points several times and asked for compensation.
Complaints were valid. They arose later when I examined/opened the amp (something I couldn't do in the middle of an airport where we met) to find slight damages, stripped screws, and opamps which were no longer identifiable. Amp was also older than advertised (thus beyond warranty), an interconnect was missing, and I recently discovered that one of the cables is non-functional but I never bothered to bring this point up. Seller trivialized all said points.
Compensation was not satisfactory, but it was better than nothing. I left neutral feedback instead of negative since I believed the seller was at least earnest in his position.
^Armaegis,
You did indeed threaten me, saying, "If you give me 20% and leave me positive feedback, I will do the same." You were implying that if I didn't do so, you were going to say negative things about me.
Furthermore, the stripped screw (which you said yourself was a single one, I don't know why you decided to change your mind in this post...) was anything but a big deal, and there were 4 extras, making it a non-issue. I made a mistake regarding the age of the device as of the date I posted the ad, I said it was one month older than it really was. I apologized for this error. The "undefinable" OPamps were certainly very definable to me under the inspection of a magnifying glass, which is short of the microscope that you claimed to use. Those three OPamps were the stock ones, FYI.
You lied to me at one point, telling me that the mini-to-mini interconnect was stock with the device. That aside, I did advertise that I had included an upgraded optical cable, which was my mistake. Thus, I refunded you for a very reasonable amount, considering my error.
You were the one who marginalized all of my points- I took the time to calculate exactly how much the package I sold you would be new, and also what it would cost you used from someone else. You told me that my numbers were "gracious" and my math was wrong, yet when I confronted you about it, you conceded (my calculations were accurate to the penny).

I did not threaten, I did not imply, I did not concede. Stop assuming and putting words in my mouth. I simply got tired of arguing with you, as I stated then, and as I am stating now. The feedback thread is no place for this.

I bought a headphone Armaegis. I don't know why Darksyde is upset, if the description doesn't match the product, I don't see why a compromise can't be made, sounds a bit defensive to me. Any ways, Armaegis is great guy to deal with! Very easy guy to talk to, and very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend him to other buyers, great guy!
