I'm open to active monitors, however none are in my price range as in Australia any speakers that aren't from computer / cheaper brands come at quite a premium over the US price.

The soundsticks seem nice however start at $270 new and I don't think I'll be able to track down a used pair for $100. At the moment I'll just grab the T40 as the Series II seems to have fixed the problems. Having no sub is actually better as it saves space and cable clutter. Thanks for all the help
