WTB: iMod; good, small amp (iBasso T3)

I'm not too particular about the specifics of the iMod, so I would be fine with a 20GB 4th gen or whatever. As long as it works. I don't want to pay more than $150, though. I've seen a 20GB 4th gen iMod go for that price in another thread on this forum, so I don't think that's unreasonable.

As for the amp, I want it to be small, and from what I gather the iBasso T3 seems to be pretty highly regarded for portable amps. I'll be driving a pair of Head Direct RE0's. Not really sure about price for the amp, it depends on the amp.

I have a modded X-Fi that I am willing to put toward this as a trade.

Red Wine Audio charges 250 bucks(used to be 200) to do the iMod to the 4G iPod. How would an iMod go for as little as 150? That doesn't cover the service charge and the base price of the iPod. I think you mean just the iPod 4G for 150.

Unless I'm mistaken, it appears that one sold for $150 earlier this month.

It's not *urgent* that I get this thing, so I'm willing to wait for a good deal to come around. If you don't think it's a fair asking price, I will consider offers. I'm aware of the cost of the iMod service, and I've found that you can grab a used 4th gen 20GB iPod on eBay for $60 easily.

Well, there's a reason why it sold so fast. I doubt you'll find another deal that good again. You can get a 5th gen for around 80 as well.

I bought myself a 30gb gen. 5 which I want to try to mod. If all goes well I'll sell it to you for 180 + shipping from Italy.

I can also build the LOD if you want (remember, it needs capacitors) and I'd like to try building a CMoy so I can through that in too; I'll be able go give you a price on these last two once I've build them.

Oh wow that would be very much appreciated! But why, if I may ask, are you willing to let it go for so cheap?

Well, I'm paying 100(including shipping) for the ipod,and the mod costs nothing, so basically I'm getting 80 for nothing :P Unless I fry it while modding, which will put me 100 in the hole

Anyway, I ordered the ipod a few days ago, so it should be here in about a week. I'll let you know if the mod goes well. Are you also interested in the LOD or amp?
