It seems Onecall and Listenup are selling V-DAC's through Amazon if you're interested.

Thanks. I'll have to give Onecall an, err... call. I have a feeling, based on what I've read, that they don't ship to Canada. I wish that there was a Canadian seller of these DAC's. I'd normally go through eBay, but, alas... too expensive based on what I've seen so far.

Thanks all for your replies. I guess the winner for me is the V-Dac. Just added it to my Xmas letter

sampson_smith,

I don't live in the US, but in my country there is a remote mail service called Jetex that allows me to have a mail box in Miami, this way I can buy almost anything at Amazon, Ebay, etc... from Costa Rica (where I live) and ship them to Miami. Then Jetex brings the items to my country at a very low cost! For the V-Dac I guess it should be around $15

Maybe there is a similar service in Canada.

Good call, Alexander! I will look into that and see if there is a comparable shipping service to Canada.
