Decent rechargeables in the UK anywhere?

Hi,

Been a long time since I posted (or even browsed here).

I'm looking for some rechargeable batteries for my SR-71A. I've been using Ultralife Lithium Batteries for... well ever since I can remember but I'm having trouble finding them cheap any more. You can sometimes pick them up on eBay but the chances are getting smaller & smaller all the time so I've come to the conclusion that I need myslef some rechargeables to keep me plugged in.

I did a search on the forums to try & find some info on what people were recommending nowadays & only came up with batteries available mainly in USA which is no good to me.

Could someone recommend me a good set that I would be able to find closer to home & a charger to go with them? I'd really appreciate it.

Cheers.

Eneloop are good NIMH cells no discharge effect. As for charger I use a Ansmann Energy 16, NICD & NIMH, delta peak, each cell is individually charged.

I think SR-71A requires a 9V cell, if I am not mistaken. Eneloop is by far the best I've used so far but they don't make 9V ones. You could try Uniross Hybrio 9V, they use the same technology. They are available from Amazon.
