Atrio M5 v1-v2 Differences?

I'm interested in a plethora of headphones, the M5 being one of them, however many of the used bargains are version 1. Just so that I know what I'm buying, is anyone able to discern and tell me the differences between the two?

Unless the person has cut it off, the v1 has an inch or so of memory wire right underneath the earphone.

I think someone who own(ed) both commented that v2 has slightly better cable, no memory wire and has a slightly deeper bass, but it is no worth the full MSRP to upgrade if you already have v1.

It really depends on how much a bargain you get from v1. You can probably get new v2 at $160~170 if you tried hard enough (sometime they pop up on eBay for cheap).

Differences sound very minor, and I do not care for bass too much - thanks for the help, not ruling out v1s.
