I'm guessing PK3 has higher sensitivity then because I remember the PK2 needing a couple more volume notches from my audio players.

yes sorry...you're right
but what's most important for a pair of earbuds to be more stable when amped
impedance or sensitivity?
could my mx760 sound so bad becouse it support less input power?

It's a balance of impedance and sensitivity. A significant drop in sensitivity or hike in impedance results in a head/earphone being harder to drive. Personally I have no clue why the MX760 don't sound right with the E3. Never bother trying.

Fiio has released a new amp, called the E1. It's made especially for the Ipod and has a built in volume control. It has the same, if not better, sound compared to the E5. This in combination with one of PK-series 'buds from Head Direct wil give you great results. You can also consider the Fiio LOD, which is also pretty good. Good luck!

i want to amp it becouse like i said my ipod is capped...has a volume limit
in th eu all have (((
so i'm searching a pair of earbuds that will work great with an amp...
for ex: i don't like the sound of my mx760 with a amp...a lot of distorsion in the lows
I'm living in the EU (Ireland) right now, and my iPod goes ridiculously loud.
Are you sure it's capped? and if it is have you googled how to uncap it? Let me google that for you
You should look into the fiio e1 as that would allow you to go as loud as you want. Portable headphones like the px100 or portapros might be a good choice if you want to hear your surroundings while listening to music.

Yes i'm shure it's capped...like i said my 1st gen nano was twice as loud as my classic...i searched how to uncap it...but for 6g firmware isn't possible...i tried gopod...doesn't work
About the e1...i already ordered a e3 a e5 and a L1 lod from fiio...maybe when e1 will be available in black i will order one
I just like the e3...simple...one battery one input one output...perfect for me...
Does e1/e5 sounds so much better?
So from yuin should i go for pk2 or pk3?
Or somebody have other ideas?
