I totally agree - music at this level of achievement we should just be thankful for. Adding in Beethoven as well, the fact that there were three such amazing composers operating in much the same time period, is something we should just revel in, and appreciate each for their own qualities (although comparing them is no doubt fun and stimulating). Much less compared are Mozart and Beethoven - now that would have been fascinating to watch those two men interacting musically had Mozart lived.

I like what Tyson and Dark Angel wrote and I agree with them, though I prefer some of Mozart's string quartets more than those of Haydn, overall I give the nod to Haydn. But, for the body of work, complete as it is, Mozart reigns supreme for this poll.
