Damn you, I want to buy a CD not a bloody iTunes download

well today i decided i like Abandon Kansas and thought im going to buy a CD of theirs, what i mean is ive heard one song i like enough to assume i will like ther stuff from them. an easy task you might think. no. i cant find 1 album of theirs available in the UK, their site wants me buy from the bloody itunes store and im just not doing it.

why the hell do music companys make it so bloody awkward to do a simple thing like buy a cd!!!! grrrr ranty ranty


anyone got any US CD sites that will ship to the UK happily?

you tried CD Baby or the like? some CD's are hard to obtain...maybe order through the band's myspace or other website? Ebay, Amazon..etc www.cdbaby.com

I assume that it's pretty much the same as the American Amazon.

Also, some artists these days are offering digital only releases. Do some research on their websites and often times they will tell you if an album is only available through digital download. It sucks, I know, but there's not much we can do.

Just follow the link on their MySpace to there on-line store $11.99 for the Album.

Here's a quote from there FAQ

Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes, we ship using international USPS shipping.


First time I've heard the band, sounds good. May even buy it myself.

yep i tried them, they dont stock the artist

the first place ever try for music, and no UK amazon is not the Same as US amazon. they only have 1 album as a download.

yep you are right, my bad there but never thought to check the FAQ and im surprised they ship outside the US, most places dont.

my main rant though was why is it so hard to buy music legally, why are CD sales tanking? because you only sell the crap off pop idol and x factor
