All amps are designed to run off a power supply. Whether you want to run the 2 amps from 2 supplies or 1 supply is really up to you.
Uhm...I know amps run off power supplies. Thanks for the condescending tone.

Why would anyone want TWO wall warts running their balanced amp? I sure wouldn't. I assumed this would be self-evident. The question is, how do you avoid this?

Yes, I asked about a toroidal a ways back. So that is how you would get around wall warts? Can a single transformer power two boards?

Maybe this is basic information to you all but I'm just trying to ask some questions. I never encountered all this "let's be sarcastic to the noob" here, even two years ago when I didn't know anything.

So great to be back...

it's one way. Batteries are another.

it's possible, but you'd have to give a specific example of a transformer and a specific example of "boards"

Two wall-warts or two PSU's powering two separate amp sections would be a dual mono setup, which could be used for balanced or speaker-level audio.
