I listened to charliex's HF-2s at a meet in September. I WAS STUNNED. I took them off and announced to everyone: "I have to sell EVERYTHING and GET THESE!"

Sigh. I lurve my HF-2s.

Yeah first time I heard the HF-2 I was stunned as well, at how bad they sounded next to the RS2 and RS1 (or heck even the 225's). Sorry but Grado pulled a nasty on this one, lots of hype and FOTM took care of the business side of things. IMO ofcourse.

For me, best first time would be first pay check working part time at the football stadium during college setting up food stalls before the game taking all the food out of storage, setting up condiment stands, and then the worst part, cleaning up after the game (man that was tough). Had to work hard to get a few bucks an hour, but the first time I saw that check in my name, as small as the amount was, it was worth it. Didnt help me pay for anything though since it didnt amount to much, still had to ask my folks for money

Some memorable first times:

Driving a car out on the dirt roads outside Yuma, Arizona with my grandfather.

A certain flag girl in undergrad.

The first time getting drunk... I think I was 13.

Becoming rather... hungry... after consuming... um, wait, what? I lost my train of thought.

Lighting up the rear tires on my first car - an old Comet that I still have.

Taking the RX-7 up over 130.

Trying my first case.

Getting arrested. (Was cleared a few hours later, but memorable, nonetheless.)

My first Head-Fi meet.

My first engagement. (Ended up every bit as successful as the second one.)

Upcoming firsts:

Riding a motorcycle! I never have and I'll be taking my first class in exactly two weeks. I can hardly wait!

First attendance at Burning Man next year. Also can hardly wait!
