Would a DAC improve my setup?

I have a Marantz CD5001 feeding my Audioengine A5's. Would there be any sound improvement adding a V-DAC to the back end of the Marantz or using Foobar> V-DAC > A5's. (All files are Wav)

I would like the convenience of a PC to DAC but don't want to spend over $300 on a dac. I don't need a headphone amp/dac since I am going to sell my headphones. I have determined that I am a IEM & speaker guy.

I doubt you would notice a difference on the A5s.
