SOLD: Rare RnB Audio Sky Blue mini-2-mini

A punchy, driving mini-2-mini; easilly equivalent with alternatives such as Shellbrook and Apuresound.

Brilliant engaging sound. Matches well with almost any portable source/amp combination. Well treated-with deoxit and deoxit gold on the connectors. Sturdy. 8" (21cm) tip to tip.

The braided cable is sheathed in translucent Tech-Flex and black shrink wrap covers (w/the RnB logo) both ends where the cable meets the plugs. This is a fantastic cable made by one of Head-Fi's great cable-makers.

Only selling because I just have too many mini-2-minis sitting around. The RnB sounds delightful - neutral and tight with great 3D depth: I love it but I haven't been using it often enough to keep it around.

i'm sorry, but i'm unfamiliar with this product. what is the cable made out of?

To me knowledge, myo (RnB180) never shared his interior wire details. I don’t know the AWG of the wire but it looks to be about 20. Knowing RnB's focus on quality I would anticipate the wire itself was the highest grade copper he could identify that partnered well with the best portable systems.

What I can say for sure is it's an extremely well built and excellent sounding mini-2-mini: the cable has an outer layer of sleeving for abrasion resistance and has ample strain relief, both mechanical and with dual wall adhesive heatshrink. The terminations are of good quality and have a solid grip when plugging them in.
