DO you guys think cell phone's headphone jack will benefit from portable amp?

Hi guys,

I know the title is not very clear. So here is my question:

Do you think an amp like IBASSO T3 will help with the overall SQ? I have heard many times about the notion of garbage in garbage out. SO... if the DAC and amp in my phone is weak, will that limit the improvement of the SQ that 5800 will provide?
