Hello,

Just recently decided I want to upgrade my setup by investing in an amp. I mainly listen to music on my HP desktop PC, mainly mp3's but am getting into FLAC files as of late. looking for a reasonably priced amp to pair with my PC and Ultrasone HFI-780's, just wondering what anyone might suggest????

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!!!

Although I've only owned the Zero DAC/amp, I would highly recommend it if you're on a budget of some sort. Ultrasones are generally not as dependent as other headphones when it comes to amps. My Zero has paired well with both my HFI 580 and Pro 900 headphones and is definitely a step up from my laptop headphone line out.

Thanks! I was just doing a little research, looks to be a reasonably priced, high quality piece of equipment (the Zero DAC/AMP that is).

I also have been doing some research on other alternatives and see some good reviews for the Little Dot MK III, does anyone have any input with regards to using that with my setup??

Again, listening to music from my computer...would it only be wise to get the Little Dot if I also had a DAC, since the Little Dot is only an amp???

With my laptop I am using the Turtle Beach DAC and it seems great. There really are no specs I can find for the Audio Advantage Micro, but its cheap, has plenty of power, and sounds much better then the on board DAC. Turtle Beach - USB PC Sound Card - Audio Advantage Micro
