Small speakers with God SQ

Hi

My friend asked me for some advice for a pair of speakers. The source will be his ipod and probably a laptop in the near future. No amp or such. He likes the grado sound, has a pair of SR125, and likes the size and design of bose, fist sized speakers.

I told him not to go for bose since he could get more sound for the same $$. Does anyone have an idea what might be good? price is probably around/under 200$

I recommend Klipsch pro media

Or Audioengine 2 if a sub is not wanted : Audioengine - Upgrade your music

I heard neither of them but they comply the specification, also klipch are known to have a grado sound like.

Aren't all threads on head-fi religious in one way or another?

Axiom Audiobytes...they have received very good reviews by the users...But they are above yuor price range, try to get a pair used...

then just buy the aego m's or anything else from the uk. many retailers will ship things to you and are bound to be cheaper than buying in sweden.

good point mark2410.

He has relatives in the UK so he goes quite regularly which will make it even easier.
