Solder suggestions for fixing headphones

Have to repair a pair of headphones (full size, ultarsones). I was opening them up for some modifications and one of the connections came loose. I am OK with a solder iron, but haven't done a lot of headphone repair stuff. I was wonder what type of solder would be the best for this type of repair. Would simple 60/40 be OK? not looking for the best stuff ever, but good stuff that will be easy to get.
Thank you.

I see no reason why 60/40 would not work just fine. You may want to pick up some liquid flux though, this can help get the old solder on the headphone to flow better.

Thought I would chime in with my 0.03 cents worth. I have always been partial to using Cardas quad eutectic silver solder for most everything. If the solder joint is on the driver it may be advantageous to use solder with a lower melting point. The melting point for 60/40 solder is typically ~370°F and the Cardas has a melting point of 338°F. I would recommend anything eutectic - meaning that it goes straight from liquid to solid, without any pasty stage in between that could cause cold joints. 63/37, Cardas, and 62/36/2 are all good. 60/40 is not eutectic - it will work ok but personally I'd get 63/37 for the same price.
