Foobar2k 0.9.6.9 Giving Me Grief

Hey guys,

I am having a supremely annoying issue with Foobar. It seems that any music, with the EQ on or off, with no amps running in either the creative control panel or any other spot, with sort of "skip" the audio. It is REALLY ANNOYING. I cannot sit and listen to music anymore with foobar, because ever since having my EQ setup in here the way I like it, the music sounds amazing.

Problem being however, that it doesn't happen in any other application! Which makes me sad, I want to use Foobar! Someone help me figure this out please!

What exactly is the DPC latency checker supposed to do? It says it is within acceptable limits, so that must be good news.

Let it run for a while and watch for red spikes. Mine spiked whenever I had a foobar "skip" and it ended up being my wireless card. Once I figured this out if I disable my wireless card and run it connected to the internet wired it runs perfectly.

I assume you have already played with DSP's, buffers, etc?

Well I let it run for quite some time (30 minutes or so) and didn't see anything. I have indeed played with all of those and still having the issue. I sure hope it isn't because my NIC is in a PCI slot as well, as my onboard is 10/100 and I need gigabit.

Try to run it with:
1. the DirectSound output
2. Changing the length of the audio buffer
3. on the soundcard of yout computer
4. any possible combination above

For me the ASIO seens to be really sensitive to pops and regullarly skips 1/10 or 1/100 seconds of audio during playback, I have no problems with DS.
