1st amp for DT440

hi, im looking for an amp that will boost DT440 from MP3 or Ipod outdoors.
my budget is 40$, but im not really looking for quality atm, so as cheap as it can get and still works.

any suggestions?

Yep - you are in Fiio territory. Fortunately, for fullsize Beyers, the 440s are fairly easy to drive and you dont need a whole lot more than that. If you can solder and know a little about electronics, a CMOY might be right up your alley. There are a couple of Fiio models and quite a few threads here, but this is the word from someone who was initially dismissive:

Personally, I hope to point something with a bit more grunt at the 440s within the next couple of months, but XMAS isnt an easy time to find 'spare' cash.

any difference in quality between E3 and E5? which is better\stronger?

same question for the ATH AD700, from ipod, will it benefit from an amp or anyway ipod will do it properly?
