That being said, I could happily live with any of the above.
My current opinion...However, it is bound to change soon...I put an order for a JVC FX700 and a Sony XB90EX.
IE80 = JVC FXZ200 > Westone 3 > Westone UM3X = CKS1000 > Denon C300 > Atrio M5 (MG7)
There are so many stories along the lines of "I sent back first pair, then their replacements failed, now..." I've certainly been put off because of them.
Spiral Ear 3 > Earsonics SM3 v2 == Westone UM3X > TF10 > Earsonics SM1 > PFE 112 > Westone 1 > UM1 > Meelec M9 > SE215
The one weird part of my list are those SE215s, I don't know why but I just absolutely hated the sound signature. Thank goodness I was able to sell them off for close to what I bought them at.
Hearing that the IE8 is equal to the SM3v2 makes me want the SM3v2...
Hehe, to me they both had a kind of magic to them. Their sound signature is not the same, but they are similar in some ways. They're the only pairs I felt more than "Oh, these sound great."
Soundmagic E30 == Sony XBA 3 > Soundmagic PL30 > Creative EP630 > Skullcandy Ink'd > Stock...
Yeah... I gotta explore more sounds...
The XBA 3's are the technically best iems that I've owned, but I preferred Soundmagic E30's soundsignature and airiness more. These are all the ones I've owned, I've tried a few more, but not for long enough to rank properly.
Nice, you have a good selection there. Almost everything I don't own, and wish to try in the future.
