It can be, try the small Sony hybrid or foam tips on the JVC's, and insert nozzle "up" rather than forward.

To my very weird taste, here goes. SM3V2 (without filter) > SM3V2 (with filter) = W4 = PFE232 > Ortofon EQ7 = Shure SE535 = > Radius N2 > Sennheiser IE8 > FAD Heaven A = Heaven S > Ortofon EQ5 > ACS T15 

 

On the lower end,

Super Fi 5 is on the bottom of that list AND below Super Fi 5 EB?

 

The Super Fi 5 must have been a fake!

 

 

 

Side note: I need to start diversifying and start looking at some of the other earphones from other brands.
