Help me buy a scanner :D

I am looking for a color scanner for 150$ or less. Please give me suggestions on what's good or not. Not looking for anything special. Just for scanning photos, artwork and other such things.

Last time looked at scanners (a year/6months ago) I was considering was the Epson Perfection 2480 but it looks like they don't make it anymore.

I have a CanoScan LIDE100 and haven't had a single issue with it. Better than the integrated one in my OfficeJet G-series. That said, I have very little knowledge/interest in scanners and have no need for anything high-end.

Yeah, I looked at newegg but I am still really confused on what to buy.
