What Songs or Albums do you listen to to test your headphones? - Page 5

I often use the following track from NFS most wanted for a start to see if its a headphone i'll like.

- Paul Linford and Chris Vrenna - The Mann

For bass presentation and handling of complex music. If its messy or if i don't get the bass oomph, no thanks.

@ Ham_Sandwich: I have that recording with the Passacaglia and Fugue, and I love that track. Artificial? Absolutely. Would I test phones with it? Hell, no. But I'm a total sucker for it. I could play it over and over.

@ Lunatique: your taste for the obscure just makes you unique and cool Rock on. (And nice call on Riddle of Steel/Rider of Doom, I should dust that off.)

Queen - The Prophet's song

Led Zeppelin - No Quarter

David Bowie - Lets Dance, Fashion, and anything off Hunky Dory

plus something new and over produced like Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit Staind etc

I also love the Most Wanted Soundtrack. My faves are:

Bullet for my Valentine - Hand of Blood
Avenged Sevenfold - Blinded in Chains
Disturbed - Decadence
Styles of Beyond - Nine Thou
Paul Linford and Chris Vrenna - Most Wanted Mash-Up

Also, if variety's a concern, I'll fire up the GTA Vice City and GTA4 soundtracks. Woot!
