Out of the box it sounds amazing paired with my zune 30gig and my ath-es7. It gives plenty of low end thump without bass boost on. I hear no hiss with this amp at all. Not even with the zune on and amp off, nor with the zune off and the amp on. A quick question, I have the zunes volume set at 15 out of 20 and I just use the amps volume control. Do I set the zune at max volume? I'm very pleasantly suprised at the huge difference this little amp makes.
