As a fan of their speakers, I'm very excited about this announcement.

Here's a link, but it's light on details:

iPod & MP3 Headphones | Noise Cancelling Head phones - Bowers & Wilkins | B&W Speakers

Was just about to post this. Looks interesting indeed.

If they're like the rest of B&Ws offerings, they'll be overpriced with poor parts-quality.

If you like B&W, cool...just don't ever look at your speaker's crossover.

I have yet to find a noise-cancelling headphone I like so not much interest for me.

They're apparently noise isolating, rather than cancelling...

I loved my DM302 speakers, which during an audition for an amp shone on the end of £15.000 worth of Naim kit. They were beautifully engineered and that is enough for me to delay buying closed back cans until I see the prices.

I'll wait and see if they bring out IEM's.

interesting, cost estimates?
It looks very nice and classy, only time will tell if it's worth the money.

not a fan of B&W but I hope the cans are better

i just bought closed cans that I'm happy with, but I liked the cm1s enough that I'm putting these on my radar. I look forward to info on pricing and release date.

Am I thinking about it? yes I am - as soon as I can go listen to them, I will.

Well, at least they are not made out of cheap molded plastic. Oh, then again, I'm sure the use of sturdy metal is going to cause unwanted resonances. Where was the R&D people?

I have a feeling the headfi preconception against B&O has someone up in arms against B&W - is it a reading problem that has Bowers & Wilkins, one of the world's most respected HiFi designers spurned?

Hot.

I hope they're not OEM sourced
