1. UAC is not doing its job.

UAC's job is to ensure the user has to give confirmation to change system settings. If the user still gives that confirmation, there's nothing it can do. UAC is not an anti-virus.

2. Namedropping remote vulnerabilities has nothing to do with the above
-Win32/Conflicker A and Win32/IRCbot.BH affected 7 RC. |
Conficker was patched in Windows before Conficker ever came out.

| VBootkit 2.0 can be used to sieze total control of a computer that has someone physically accessing it (whether they intend to or not). |
Again, there are local exploits for every OS. You CANNOT prevent someone with local access from gaining access to a computer. Period. These mean NOTHING. Not a single thing.

Remote assistance requires a one-time session key to be communicated to the person connecting. Again, social engineering is not something an OS can defend against. Remote Assistance is a fantastic addition that makes IT workers' lives much easier.

Not if you're running IE8, which runs at a protected level below even that of a normal process

| Just because experienced users will have a great time on 7 doesnt mean that the inexperienced users should be ignored. Their computer security is comprimised in 7 vs vista because of the scalebacks of default settings. |
Due to overwhelming demand by users.

It's not semantics. Do some research into computer security and you'll do the same thing.
Just for the benefit of everyone else: MrGreen was already called out for the troll he is in the "Windows 7 is Awesome" thread for statements such as claiming he could "see" by using the OS that the kernel hadn't changed. Real expert, there.
