Replacement for short interconnect for FiiO E5?

The short (6 inch) interconnect that came with my FiiO E5 went bad, and I'm trying to find a replacement. Is there any source for these short interconnects? (There must be, because FiiO can get them.)

I found a Cardas mini-to-mini out there, but the place I found them at wants $10 for (USA-to-USA) shipping. I'm not willing to spend more than I spent on the headphone amp on an interconnect.

Anyway, leads on relatively cheap, short mini-to-mini interconnects are appreciated.

It depends on what you think. If you think cables change sound, $10 is nothing. If not, I do not know where to get one that short as cheap stock. I would personally pay a DIYer here to make one, because of the quality guarantee (and the shallow part of me thinks they look cool).

EDIT: Saw the cost thing. I cannot help you then. Actually, let me look. I may have a cheap short mini to mini that I would be glad to just post to you. I will PM if I find it.

BTW, it's not a total of $10 that I was talking about, it's that the Cardas cable would be $18 for the cable + $10 shipping that makes me pause. $28 is more than I paid for the FiiO E5

Even DIY would be more than you would want to pay if you use good connectors and cable. Your best bet would be any local audio seller that you can go to. 6" may be a bit hard to find but as far as SQ, I don't expect that you could notice any appreciable difference from a Fiio if you use a cheap one. Maybe if you can find one with SPOFC, it may brighten up Fiio's "Veil"
